All Biased Charges Dismissed
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, July 27, 2016 (Cincinnati, OH) – Following the June 14th dismissal of a key misdemeanor charge against pro-life undercover investigators, David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress, all remaining charges against the pair were dismissed yesterday in Harris County Court, Texas.
David and Sandra were under indictment for methods used to expose Planned Parenthood officials trafficking in the sale of aborted babies’ remains. Despite efforts similar to other investigative journalists, they faced 20 years in prison for a felony count of tampering with a government record for using false identification to enter Houston-based Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.
“As the U.S. House of Representatives’ Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives continues to confirm David and Sandra’s evidence of Planned Parenthood’s macabre sale of aborted babies’ body parts, dismissal of these politically motivated charges is more than justified,” said Paula Westwood, Executive Director, Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati. “It is time for charges against David and Sandra in California to be dropped also.”
