Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown Blocking Nomination
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, February 8, 2017 (Cincinnati, OH): President Trump’s selection of Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill the Supreme Court seat vacated by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia offers the country a Supreme Court Justice with a record of faithfully applying the law and defending the Constitution.
However, in a move out of touch with Ohio voters, Ohio’s U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown immediately opposed Judge Gorsuch’s nomination.
